predictive ML

Any standard ("classic") machine learning system. The term predictive ML doesn't have a formal definition. Rather, the term distinguishes a category of ML systems not based on generative AI.

Practitioners refer to predictive ml when building, training, or evaluating machine learning systems. It appears in research papers, product documentation, and technical discussions about AI capabilities and limitations.
