About AIExplainer

AIExplainer.co.uk is an online AI dictionary and reference website. We currently publish 636 terms across 16 categories — from machine learning and large language models to ethics and prompt engineering — each explained in plain English.

This is not a news website, blog, AI tool directory, or SaaS application. It is a real dictionary — similar in concept to Merriam-Webster or the Oxford English Dictionary — but focused entirely on Artificial Intelligence.

Each entry aims for the same structured format: a short definition, plain English explanation, analogy, usage examples, common misconceptions, and related terms where available.

Our Mission

Artificial Intelligence is filled with confusing jargon. AIExplainer exists to make AI understandable through clear explanations, analogies, examples, and structured definitions — for complete beginners, students, journalists, business owners, developers, recruiters, and researchers alike.
